Amanda is 13yrs. old. She has been riding since she was 3. At age 7 she and her twin sister Cheyenne began trick riding in the JDP School.  Amanda purchased a flashy paint named Cherokee from Jerri and have been performing together for 5 years. Amanda is a dynamic trick rider and roman rider and a seasoned performer. One memorable highlight came in 2008 performing in the Hippike Production at Toronto's CNE.  28 performances in 2 weeks! Amanda is extremely talented in vaulting as well.  Her other faves are school, reading, and gymkhanas.

Cheyenne is Amanda's twin sister, equally as talented. She began trick riding on Sable at age 7 and then used her gymkhana horse Fan for a couple of years.  She now rides Dallas, a young paint horse purchased from Jewel's family.  They make a great team.  Cheyenne also was featured in the Hippike Production at Toronto's CNE in 2008. Cheyenne is an accomplished vaulter, trick rider, and makes double roman riding with her sister look easy! The twins have performed at many rodeos and were featured in Xtreme Rodeo magazine. Cheyenne also loves school, drawing, and gymkhana.  Both girls like to ride fast horses!

Avery is 6 and has been trick riding for over a year.  She has loved everything about horses since she could talk, and started riding when she was 3.  She has taken English and western lessons, and loves barrel racing and riding with family and friends. Avery took to trick riding and learned on Sable. She loves all of the tricks.  Avery has already performed at shows and rodeos, and she is a crowd favorite! Her palomino mare, Amber, was originally trained by Jordana. You can't say enough about her horsemanship or her trick riding ability.  She is a natural! Good things come in small packages! 

Ashley, 23, has been around horses all her life. When she was young, she decided to be a trick rider, so in June 2007 she moved to Carseland to train with Jerri. Ashley learned easily and was a huge help to Jerri with the other students in the program.  Everybody loves Ashley!  She currently trick rides on her bay mare, Madonna, and books shows with Bradi. The pair of girls have a great act.  Ashley helps design her beautiful costumes, sewn by her very talented mother!  An expert vaulter, roman rider, and trick rider, Ashley also loves to rope and is about to get into barrel racing.

Bradi, 22, is the daughter of a Canadian Champion Bareback Rider, so she is no stranger to rodeo.  She showed great determination to learn the skills and found a style of her own quickly. She purchased a horse, saddle and outfits from Vanessa Steinbach and Bradi was on her way! Bradi and Ashley teamed up to make a stunning pair of trick riders and are currently booking rodeos.  Both girls excel in trick riding. Bradi also has creative imagination designing her costumes, both beautiful and unique!

Baylie, 10, has been on a horse all her life. She started trick riding in 2008, and loves it.  She purchased a small palomino, Max, from Jerri. The pair were made for each other! Baylie is gifted and talented and does the most all of the tricks.  She is excellent in vaulting. Her favorite tricks are the neck layover and the moonwalk! Baylie and her sister Brooke have performed in many shows. Baylie has showmanship flair and an amazing ability! Her other loves are 4H, skating, soccer and of course, barrels and poles.

Brooke is 12 and has been addicted to horses all her life. She loves to barrel race and pole bend and chase cows with her dad. Anything on a horse!  Brooke took over her dad's rope horse when she began trick riding in the fall of 2008. One of her best tricks is the one foot stand. She can lift her leg so high she looks like she is doing the splits! Same in the suicide drag, her leg goes deep toward the dirt to make the trick look fantastic! Her other loves are roman riding and 4H. Brooke is especially proud that she trained her own horse, Sam.

Dani, 15, has always loved horses. They have been her passion since she was very small.  Her first tricks were done on the back of a spring horse when she was 3! Dani went to her first class at Jerri's and was hooked. It all came together for Danica when she purchased her stout horse Cisco.  She went from nervous to daring overnight once they became a team. Dani is an excellent trick rider. She is fun to watch and her smile and personality will open many doors for this beautiful young lady!

Hannah is 9 and has ridden since she was 4.  She and her sister gymkhana and compete in all the events.  Hana began trick riding in Dec.2008 and rides and trains her own black mare, Bonnie. Her favorite trick is the suicide drag, but she loves every minute of trick ridings. Vaulting is fun and easy for her. She is one of the "daring" ones to ride on someone's shoulders when Zak is loaded up with kids. Hannah and her sister Shaelyn have performed a few places on their own. One of their highlights was entertaining students and teachers at their school.

Jessica is 18 and going to SAIT to become a Legal Assistant. She trick rides on her paint mare, "Silk". Jess is highly entertaining, as things always happen to her!  She is fun to work with. First she protests loudly that she can’t do the trick, then before long, does it well. It's always a good time when Jess, her trick riding sister Kirstie, and her mom show up for practice. Jessica has a few shows under her belt; the highlight was performing at the Gleichen Rodeo, close to hometown Cluny. She has flair and style in trick riding. Other faves include figure skating, volleyball and she has Level 1 in Voice.

Jewel is 9 and began trick riding on Sable at age 6 and has grown into an outstanding performer. She loves roman riding on Sable and Zak and is training her matched paint team, Lefty and Ben, to be a team as well. Ben is her young trick horse, and she has done the training. Jewel has mastered most of the tricks, and is talented in vaulting as well. She barrel races on Candy, cattle pens, rides English and gymkhanas. She if very busy but a very accomplished horse woman.  Jewel, with her contagious personality, ensures everyone has a wonderful time at practice. For someone so young, she has broad shoulders and a generous giving spirit.

Kirstie, 22, has been riding all her life. She currently attends Mount Royal College where she is enrolled in the psychology program. For the past 3 years, Kirstie has been a member of the Calgary Stampede Show riders. She is thrilled to be completing a lifelong dream of becoming a trick rider. Jerri recognized her ability and fast tracked her to trick riding 101!  She also connected her to a trick riding horse named Smoke, originally trained by Jerri, and they never looked back. Kirstie has the whole package, with lots of flair and talent. Though she booked some shows with her sister Jessica and Avery, her highlight of 2009 was being crowned Miss Calgary Stampede princess.  She will be busy in 2010 being a good will ambassador for the Calgary Stampede.  Congratulations, Kirstie!  Couldn't have happened to a nicer young lady.

Sierra is 8 years old and has wanted to be a trick rider since she was 2.  She has grown up around rodeo and has a background in gymnastics and ballet.  Sierra started performing at age 6 on Sable and has quite a few shows under her belt. She teamed up at several rodeos with Bradi and Ashley and her performances were outstanding! Her vaulting is masterful, and she was the first to ride on someone's shoulders when we load up Zak in vaulting. Her trick riding is flawless.  Sierra has mastered most of the tricks, even the Stroud Layout. Look out for her in years to come!  When not on a horse, you can find her enjoying the Brownies program.

Shaelyn, 10, began riding at age 5 and has always loved events with horses.  She and her sister Hanna started trick riding in Dec. 08. Shae uses her own horse T.D. and trained him well.  Shaelyn is great to work with.  She quietly observes and gives it her all. She also gets along with any horse, and helps Jerri out by trick riding some on her pony Shilo. She is on her way to becoming a good horsewoman. Shaelyn is great in vaulting and talented as a trick rider.  Besides performing at several shows, her highlight was performing at her school in front of classmates and teachers. You can always find her at local gymkhanas competing against her sister!

Tory, 8, has been riding all her life.  When she was 6, she watched the JDP trick riders perform in Nanton at a rodeo, and that was it.  She started lessons on Sable not long after that! Trick riding immediately became her passion. Jewel and Tory would have quite an argument on who loves it the most!  Tory also has worked many shows on Sable, but recently purchased a little grey mare, Lady, from Rae Lynn Armstrong, and what a combination!  Tory is a born entertainer and loves all the tricks, and recently mastered the side backbend. One of her favorite things is roman riding on Sable and Zak. Tory barrel races and pole bends and is learning to rope and goat tie. Her other faves are hockey and school.
